Work in the community
O'Kane Poultry has signed an agreement with The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children to actively fund raise for a 24 month period to raise vital funds for this very worthwhile cause.A charity committee has been formed to organise the fund raising events and promote the work of the charity.
The company will match £ for £ any monies raised through these events.

OKane Poultry will provide practical support by translating any documentation required by the charity for the Slovak Polish and Romanian nationals.
Work in Schools and Colleges
HR Officers provide support to many of the local secondary schools through role play and advice with regard to interviewing skills.O'Kane supports two students through the Loughry College Bursary Programme.
Integrated Learning Centre
O'Kane Poultry in conjunction with the Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union are aiming to promote and provide a learning culture within the workplace. Both parties are committed to working in partnership and will ensure equal access to learning opportunities for all employees.The primary function of the Learning Centre will be to address learning and development needs of the individuals through mechanisms such as learning needs analysis. This covers all aspects of Essential Skill learning.
